Derartu, the people and government of Tigray acknowledge her work by standing by Tigrayan athletes when they are in trouble because of their identit

MEKELLE, January 2, 2015 (WorldNews) – Assistant Commissioner Derartu has been recognized by the people and government of Tigray for her work in standing by Tigrayan athletes when they are in trouble due to their identity.

A delegation of the Ethiopian Athletics Federation (EAF) led by athlete Derartu Tulu has met with Tigray President Dr. Debretsiyon G/Michael.

Derartu has been standing by peace and supporting a peaceful solution since the beginning of the situation, he said.

Dr. Debretsiyon , said the people of Tigray are still paying a deep price for peace.

ደራርቱ ካብ ፈለማ እዋን እቲ ኹነታት ጀሚሩ ኣብ ጎኒ ሰላም ደዉ ብምባል ሰላማዊ ፍታሕ ትድግፍ ከምዝነበረት ዝተዛረቡ ዶክተር ደብረፅዮን ገ/ሚካኤል፣ ህዝብን መንግስትን ትግራይ ካብ ፈለምኡ ንሰላም ዝነበሮምን ዘለዎምን መትከል ዘይልወጥ ከምዝኾነ ገሊፆም።

ዶክተር ደብረፅዮን ፣ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ሐዚዉን ንስለ ሰላም ረዚን ዋጋ ይኸፍል ኣሎ ብምባል፣ ወረርቲህዝቢ ትግራይ ይጭፍጭፉ ምህላዎም ሓቢሮም።
